The weather here in Courchevel has been acting a little peculiarly over the last few weeks, it got quite hot at one point and we thought I might not ever get back to normal bitterly cold January temperatures. Luckily our prayers have been answered, the weather has turned and the snow has arrived!

Snowangelnannies nannies have been out and about enjoying the snow with the children. There’s much more fun to be had when there’s lots of fresh snow! The children have been busy building bigger snowmen, making snow forts and making snow angels all over the place, plus there’s nothing like a good snowball fight to end the day.

La Tania is always great when there’s fresh snow to play in. The Folyeres piste that runs down into la Tania is a particular favourite of mine. When the snow is good it’s always fun to get into the trees! There’s lots of little snow paths that run off the side and back onto the piste again, it helps to be prepared for the odd bump in the trees! Great fun for children and adults too!

The busy period of Christmas and the arrival of another New Year has passed us by.
It’s a little sunnier that we expected but we’ve still snow and the sluggish feel of festive overeating is behind us. It’s therefore time to get back out to the slopes, where one can enjoy a slightly more peaceful skiing experience. The lift queues are shorter due to fewer people in resort, the lift passes are cheaper and Snow Angel Nannies this January are offering you a weeks childcare at a bargain price of just £500!!

Not a cloud obscured the mountains serene beauty today.

We awoke to a clear blue sky which heightened the Alps ever more omnipotent presence.

Here is a photo of the gorgeous sunset in Courchevel.
