We’ve launched an Industry Partner Program for ski professionals and the wider ski industry
Whitedot has just launched their ‘Industry Partner Programme’. This initiative has been prompted by the growing requirement of Whitedot to satisfy the demand by mountain professionals needing freeride skis as part of their winter equipment. Freeride skis are now the norm for ski instructors, ski guides, ski patrol and other ski professionals. Whitedot wants to do more than offer a ‘pro-deal’ for those who need it. We want to go further and develop a community of industry professionals to help each other in their ski exploits!
For ski instructors, the ‘all-mountain’ element of freeride skis are at such a performance level that they are now equally at home ‘on-piste’ as well as ‘off-piste’. In addition their clients expect their instructors to reflect the growing trend of freeride. For ski guides, some clients remain focused on vertical gain, for others it is about the freeride descent experience. Therefore ski guides are choosing to widen their ski equipment to adapt to clients’ needs.
Whitedot has always tried to facilitate ‘pro-deals’ for winter professionals and where applicable the wider ski community. And as Whitedot has grown and its reach increased across the world, inevitably we need to put some structure to continue to deliver this service. Therefore the Industry Partner Programme has been launched. And to further widen the offering Whitedot has divided the program into two levels:
· Level 1 – Ski instructors, ski guides, ski patrol, avalanche rescue staff
· Level 2 – Valley floor workers – this is a discretionary sector where an applicant can show his/her employment is in direct support of the winter sports industry to enjoy the benefits of this programme and community.
